Fire Dragon Updates

People are always asking me when I'm going to update in their reviews. So, I thought I might as well make a topic letting everybody know where I am in writing or revising which ever chapter I'm working on and an estimated date of the next update.

Currently I'm working on editing chapter 29, and I'm probably about half way through. I'd say you can expect an update within the next 2-3 days.

Chapter 29 has officially been posted.

I've just started writing Chapter 33 (ok...I have the first paragraph written). Yes, Chapter 33...I'm sure all of you are wondering why I'm working through Chapter 33 when I only have 29 chapters posted...meaning there's 3+ chapters of Fire Dragon in existance that nobody but myself has read...a good 50 pages of unread material...

Ok, I'll stop with the evilness...hehe...

But a little bit about how I write my chapters and schedule my updates. Typically I write one chapter ahead...meaning when I post a chapter, I already have the next chapter written. Example: When I posted Chapter 21, I had Chapter 22 written. It's how I keep on top of things...so I don't fall too far behind.

Anyways, the end of fifth year is approaching...meaning I'm going to have to plan sixth year pretty soon...however, knowing what has to happen in sixth and seventh year (pertaining to the war, of course) it is necessary that I plan sixth and seventh year together. That is going to take a considerable amount of time and I want 3-4 chapters already written when I start doing that so I can keep updating while I make my next (and final ) outline. I hope that makes sense.

Do you have any idea about when your next post will be? I'm anxiously waiting!

It won't be for a little while. I'm still only a few paragraphs into Chapter 33 (once I finish it, I'll edit Chapter 30 and post it...) and I haven't worked on it for the past two days. Hopefully I'll make some real progress tomorrow!

I figure I should give you an update...and sadly I'm only three pages in...*smacks hand* Bad Sunne! I really do need to sit down and seriously work on this chapter...but life happens. I'll continue to keep you updated.

I would like to say that my muse takes FAR FAR FAR too many unauthorized vacations. He needs to be punished. Anyways, I dragged him back from the Bahamas and forced him to get on with Fire Dragon...I mean, a writer does have an agenda of her own and everything...a girl can't wait forever for her muse. Perhaps I should go to Muses R Us and get a new one...

But, moving on...I am now six pages into the next chapter (that would be chapter 33...) and once I finish that, I'll edit chapter 30, stick a title on it...and post it. If my muse cooperates...that might happen soon...but I'm not making any promises.

Hello again! Well, I've finished Chapter 33 and I'm set on editing Chapter 30. So, I estimate that it should be posted within the next few days, but I'm not promising anything.

Um...still editing ch. 30...I know, I know, it's been forever since I've updated. You have my permission to throw rotten tomatoes at me.

Well, I'm sure all of you will be pleased to know that I've finally finished editing ch. 30...all I have to do is enter all the revisions into the master file, do a final read through...and then post it. I estimate that it'll be a few days. Be patient oh lovely readers. This was one heck of a chapter to edit...

I post Chapter 30 yesterday...I know, it took forever for me to get through the editing. Time to work on the next chapter!

I just finished reading Fire Dragon. I couldn't stop reading it, it is so good. i can't wait till you post Chapter 31. i also like your method of writing/posting chapters. i think if most writers did your method they would probably update faster.

I'm currently working on revising Chapter 31...and if everything goes as planned, it should be posted within the next few days. Hopefully it won't be like Chapter 30...that was awful to edit. It's coming along awesomely though...if awesomely is a word.

Chapter 31 is finally posted! Sorry, that one took a long time too...blame my computer. It crashed and held all my files hostage for a week and a half. Progress on Ch. 35 has been made...though it's small. I'll keep you all updated.
